Hello!

I am a mid 50s married motorhead. I have owned at least 15 motorcycles over the years, but just got back into the hobby again after a two year break. My last bike, a Honda CTX700 was practical, reliable, and well made....but sorely lacked any sort of FUN. As such, I sold it, bored witless.

The bike bug started buzzing around my head recently, and my priority was FUN. I have a work from home gig now, so I won't be commuting, just cruising PCH and carving the SoCal coastal canyon roads for recreational purposes.

As I looked back on which motorcycle I have had the most fun with, I remembered the 1975 Honda CB360 I owned in the 1980s. It was light, nimble, friendly, and was entirely non-intimidating--but still a smile-maker. I decided to seek a new bike of similar size, power, and personality. Research revealed the new Speed 400 was a pretty good match.

Success! I purchased one locally three weeks ago. The machine is a perfect fit for me, and my first 300 miles have been a joy
