Clutch slipping

HI folks. I have a 1200 R Thruxton with about 8000 km on the clock. Today the clutch started slipping under load and seemed to get progressively worse. Any ideas or thoughts as to what it could be?

Did you recently change the oil? What oil are you currently running? I ask this because automotive oils can and do cause clutch slippage.

Check the cable adjustment and the clutch lever as it can bind if too tight at the pivot
