Gave the arm a bit of treatment after looking at it closer. It’s not as bad as it looked at first glance. Now I may have to look at those bearings a bit or it could be some moly grease will hold off whatever was going on.

It turns out I have Triumph’s recommended grease already! LoL. Molybdenum Disulphide. This one made by Shell, AeroShell 64.

Bought this for another hobby of mine, keeps for ever or long enough.

Those slight marks on your clutch pivot shaft should be fine. Looks like they mostly polished out. That lever shaft sees a lot of use so the slight wear marks would be normal IMO.

Well it’s all together, the sound baffling torqued to 9Nm and the cover bolts torqued to 9Nm. New seals installed and needle bearings greased. Some polishing adjustment to do and final adjustments on the clutch cable. The motorcycle is oiled up and the battery is on the charger. I’ll see about the final adjustment checks and start it after the battery has had some time to charge.

Shift linkage installed as well, bolt 9Nm. Alignment dot had to check my previous pre project photo. I counted the splines and made it match. Probably wouldn’t have made a difference. Now waiting.
