Three of us left Last Wednesday by vehicle to attend the annual classic car and hot rod show in Syracuse in upper New York state.
From here it's a 1 1/2 day drive just to get there, and then of course we had to come back
.
This was strictly a car event so I won't bore you with a lot of cars pictures, but I will post a few later.
It was a fantastic event and the weather was beautiful and quite hot and humid in the low 30'sC (low 90'sF) for us with Eskimo blood
Saturday afternoon there was a monsoon rain storm that sent everyone running, but it only lasted a short while and the hot sun came out again. Typical summer weather in the northeast.
The only "motorcycle" on display was this land speed record streamliner powered by two vintage Triumph 650 engines. This was a Triumph and Castrol effort.
Everything else was classic cars, hot rods, drag race cars, rat rods and assorted others.
Many of the hot rods and cars were stunningly beautiful so I'll post a few in another thread as there are a few "hot rodders" here on the forum - once I go through the 300 pictures I took.
Don't you just love digital photography
