Cindy Came To Visit

We had a visitor arrive last night, Tropical Storm Cindy. The bi#%$ is trying to ruin the one good day off I will have over the next 14 days. They are forecasting heavy rains back in the area Saturday as she moves toward the northeast. We've been lucky, she lost some of her punch as she hit the area and just before the rains in front of her that were moving from the northeast broke up a little when they passed over us but there's still heavy rains moving north along the eastern side of the eye that are headed this way.

This photo shows we are in a void but that probably won't last long.

We have been keeping an eye on Cindy from way up here, and have had more than an interest in southern storms since we were hit by Juan in 2003.
Glad there are no devastating winds, but flooding can almost be as bad.
No doubt the remnants of Cindy will find its way up here eventually.

We barely got any rain. The grass looks like it needs watering. They're still saying tomorrow and Saturday will be our big rains.
