A great old "modern" Christmas song!!
I don't have a favourite Christmas song. I tend to like a mixture of carols and modern songs like White Christmas and others, as well as some of the silly Christmas songs.
Mix it up and keep it interesting I say.
I was shopping in a chain grocery store yesterday and that's the mixture they were playing.

Can you image being seven years old and having that much talent!!!!!!!
I remember hearing Gene Autry sing Rudolph for the first time on radio.
I was a kid growing up on the farm and my ear was pressed against the radio listening to the Gene Autry show from a station in New York. I could barely hear it through all the static, but I remember hearing Rudolph.
It didn't make much of an impression on me at the time, but as the years passed the song endured and is still with us today.
Sadly, Gene is not. He was my favourite cowboy movie star and I had pictures of he and Champion all over my bedroom wall.

Rocky, I didn't have that much talent at 67, let alone seven! Glad you like the selection. I, too, first heard Gene Autry's Rudolf on the radio. That was a couple of years ago.

Thanks, Dave. Besides Elvis, it was done by other artists. Elvis is the one who made it big.

I know that some of you don't much care for this one for your own reasons. With so much pain and suffering in SA it give me a time to reflect on what I have done or can do to try and make someone less fortunate than myself have a better moment over this period.
