Ceramic coating vs Powder coating the exhaust

Hi everyone! What are the benefits to ceramic coating vs powder coating ones pipes? I plan on blacking out the pipes on a Storm. Any info greatly appreciated.

The folks that I know that have done this went with ceramic coating. They say the ceramic handles the better than than powder coating. I haven't done either one.

Thanks for the response. I know the difference in the processes is defined by the heat the surface will endure. I will be ceramic coating my exhaust pipes black. Thanks again!

That is a good choice if you are going for the new look, and it works. Powder coating does start to flake off.
I like the old school look, wrapping but you obviously have a mission, hope we see photos soon.
