Hiya guys

Here's some pics from Wicker Country Lodge where we stopped last weekend.

Very nice setting as you can see from the pics. It was HOT!

The place is normally packed with bikers, however this time, they wasn't even 10 bikes in the car park. We soon found out just why this is....

The food is CRAP!!! :y49: I mean really crap. Looks like crap, tastes worse. Rather stop and get an out-of-date pie at a dingy petrol station, your stomach will thank you.
Coffee tastes and looks like dishwater. Normal coffee at R10.00 a cup?? WTF??? :y94:

We will not be stopping there anytime soon again that's for sure. Especially when the service is erm... well let's just say that the food is perhaps better. Had to go and find the cashier for the bill, waited around for ages, then went to pay. Don't worry about getting the correct change - you won't see any of the money again.

Pity though - coz it looks like such a lekker brekkie spot. Sigh.

That place used to tops years ago. Not any more. The Wimpy in Magalies is the best for service and value for money.

T-RIDERS

At least you had good weather :y154:
In Belgium, where I live, we may have good food but the weather.....is CRAP
Enjoy yourselves
cheers :y18: :y18: :y18: :y18: :y18: :y18: :y18: :y18: :y18: :y18: :y18:

We used to go there from time to time but it has got so bad that a ride by is the closest i'll get to that dump  It's such a shame as the venue is fantastic, makes you wonder if they have tried their own food.

They have NOT used their own toilets that is guranteed they're disgusting

The "wicked tea garden" used to be a great place a few years ago.

Its a pity a lot of these places get a good reputation, and the rely on the reputation and allow the service/quality to fall bellow standard

BTW, who remembers "hungry wheels"
