Bought another bike

I guess I gave up on finding a early -60s 200cc Triumph Tiger Cub - The bike that I wore out the brochure looking at it when I was 14.

I bought a near mint 2005 Suzuki DR200SE last week in deep blue. All it needs is new tires (the previous owners were not front brake users) and they are coming in tomorrow.

I had bought a new Suzuki DR400Z dual sport several years ago, but the seat was narrower and harder than a piece of 2 x 4 lumber, such that I could not ride it for more than 15 minutes; so I sold it quickly. It should also be noted that at that time there were no wider or softer aftermarket seats available.

I bought this bike for some liesurely trail riding (in most parts of my state you can take a street legal bike anywhere you can get it, but you can't use an ATV or off-road bike - go figure). Near my lake house there are miles and miles of grown up roads in the foothills and mountains - you just have to be careful of roads that lead to cliff edges (a real dead end).

Some years ago I bought a high quality sheepskin seat cover from someone I contacted on this forum; anybody know if they are still in business?

I did some trail riding yesterday on the Tiger XC. It was great. I can tell you I am looking forward Lee's and Susan's sheepskin cover.

Gary, congratualtions. Off road riding is great fun. To answer your question. Yes Cruisin Comfort is still very much in business. And Lee and Susan are great folks. Enjoy that Suzuki and ride safe! TUP

Go ride it and tell me what you think. Of course, you run the risk of being hooked. :y2:

Lol the sure have not as I actually phoned them as I needed to get a price on a Street Triple and they had never heard of it. So I just sort of asked about the XC and found they have a demo
