Any suggestions for making the Bonneville OEM seat more comfortable. I don't want to buy a Corbin or King/Queen or any other seat because I do like the classic look of the original. I'm thinking about the sheepskin Carl S had mentioned to me before. Anyone used the gel insert? Advantages/Disadvantages?

Gel gets might warm in the summer time here in southeast. The sheepskin is actually cooler in the summer than a seat without it.

Alaska Leather makes a great sheepskin or go to a local upholstery should and have them build it to fit your butt. I had a bike done with denser foam and a gel insert, it was great and 1/4 the price of a new seat.

Tried your suggestion and got the front and pillion butt pads for my Bonneville at Alaska Leather. They are really comfortable and at a great price. I highly recommend the small company; they were very helpful and said I will be happier with the sheepskin instead of the more expenive gel pads. Will add a pic as soon as I get a nice day.

I put a couple of pics on the Gallery under the title Alaska Butt Pads on Ronnie's Bonnie for those who want to see how they look.
