Big Jack

Just thought to mention this, tho i dunno that anyone knows him. He posted here a few times tho maybe not for quite a while. But this fellow Tbird rider who bought his right at the release like me was just diagnosed with stage 4 pancriatic cancer. Jack is as his name suggests a big guy, retired and loves his Tbird as much as any man could. Now he expresses his fear that he may not be taking it out of it's winterized state next spring. I only mention it here because someone may remember him, and i know a couple of you have posted at the 1600 forum in the past and therefore have membership. So if you do and you want to give him your prayers and a few words you can do so here...

I also mention it because the guy is just one of the nicest people, so much so that it's obvious just from reading a few of his posts. Just a very easy going kind person it seems to me. And because of that i just felt a need to mention it. It's heart wrenching to see him mention the fear he might not get to ride his baby next spring. Why couldn't this happen to someone like charles manson instead, ya know ?

Well, he doesn't post often even at the Tbird forum. Maybe once every few weeks or even months. But he is one of the original members during this 3 years plus since the bike's release.

Dale, thank you for this update. I am so sorry to hear this bad news. Indeed, bad things so happen to good people. It is one of those things we will never understand in this life. He is in my prayers.

I don't know the fellow of course, but am very sorry to hear the dreaded news.
This awful disease has touched four members of my family with fatal results so I know how devestating it can be.

Well, you worded it a certain way and i misread it. But never the less thats still just so unfair. Not that 1 person getting this horrible thing is fair, but 4 in one family is just so wrong. I'm glad to hear 3 are still in the fight and doing well. You've definitely had more than your share of bad luck. Sometimes i take things for granted, but hearing this kind of thing changes my outlook if only for a moment.

Your so right; it is a devastating disease. This is what upset me so about the charade former member pulled.
