Unusual drive home from work this morning, I almost ran over a man in a dark stretch of the road. I was almost right on top of him when I saw what looked like a garbage bag. As I swerved to miss the bag I noticed a smiling face looking at me. He was sound asleep laying in the road and he must have been having a good dream because he was smiling from ear to ear and he didn't even move as my headlights lite up his face.
The police department is just down the rode from this location so I headed there. About half way there I saw a patrol car so I stopped him and reported what had just happened. I guess the sleepy feller wasn't dead since I haven't seen or heard anything about a dead body in the road.
