One of the joy’s of owning a Bonneville is the ole school look and feel. I’ve shied away from older models because of maintenance costs. Well I just found out today that the local Triumph dealer is closing its doors in two weeks. This is BIG news because this is a mega corporation with two stores in town. The company is called Ride Now and owns many, many dealerships across the country. The nearest authorized dealer is now 88 miles away and while qualified to service the bike it is not an “authorized dealer†so I guess my bike has become a classic sooner than I expected.

On a serious note, many people are being laid off some whom I’ve known for many years of buying bikes. It’s a real shame what’s happen to the average person. We can all thank Washington and Wall Street for the mess we’re in.
