sorry guys ment to tell you i was going away for a week, but it all got a bit rushed and there was no phone or wifi were we stayed .
it was breath taking and i took loads of pics , the ones above are just a few .

Shane you lucky dog you! I've wanted to go there for years! I even had a Skye Terrier named Skyler until a few months back.

I believe we spoke of that before AJ, my Mother has always had Skye Terriers currently she has 2 Lacy and Angus. Wonderful dogs.
Yeah....he sure was a character! Only drawback is all the brushing and combing. But what great personality!

For those not aware heres a pic as a kid I named mine The Diesel Weasel (D.W.for short)
Lol....I called mine DUSTMOP for short! 
He was so laid back and lazy it was hilarious! He'd groan and grumble if you made him move. But he loved the cats and ferrets. He often acted like a mother to new kittens.

Shane, tell me again why there are no trees up on that (I assume) high country?
I see photos of mountain country in winter with snow covered Fir trees.
I understand some parts of the world were once treed but human and animal pressure has permanently stripped the area.
Not getting my head around this.
