All over Australia we can ride 365 days a year BUT just now isn't a good time to do it.

We lucky to have the same type of climate. However the small town where I lived it would get really cold in winter and even snow at times. It was normal in winter for the water pipes to freeze but we were still out riding.

Then again it was a choice ride or walk as the bike was the only transport most of us had at that time.

Too much snow here to even think about riding. I wouldn't be able to get to the highway anyway and I'd freeze my but off. Still, I guess I'll have to make the most of it. At least it was sunny today.

I think I might have a virus though ...

Rocky DS Biting the dog before it bites you ...Where in the Republic are you anyway , can’t be to close to the 49 th so at least you can ride all summer with out taking a month or two off in the high temperatures season .

My wife and I rode across Canada and back last year. We scooted around PEI, through Charlottetown on the way back.

It rained!

I'm in the process of writing up the trip on my blog (Trevor's dualsport motorcycle adventures). Hopefully I'll get it finished eventually.

Its getting warm here 80-85F so far this week its going to rain to-night and turn very cold 65F tomorrow but going to have a stretch of 70-80F, i am all filled up and ready to go.

We have had no rain for ( apart for a few light showers ) for two months and its like a dust bowl here but cold not been much above 5c , the big thing this winter has been the wind its blown a hoolie for 3 months and mostly from the north so been very cold .

We had a high of 91F yesterday, Today it will be cooler with highs in the low to mid 70's. I will say this about the lockdown, the roads in the metro ara afre a lot more relaxing to to ride - a whole lot less traffic. I see a lot a motorcycles out.

I'm sure you can pick up groceries(food) on the bike. Can't carry as much as your car, so means more trips.

Qship, I was going to ask about the weather there and expected you had received an unwelcome gift from Mother Nature.
We only got a dusting that had melted by 9:00 AM, and quite a bit of wind.

The grass was peeking up through the snow when I got up and it’s been raining for awhile so any sign of the storm will be gone by noon . Could have been worse ,places in the White Mountains were predicted to get 2 feet . Believe the Cape Breton Highlands got dumped on .
