Australian Bushfires.

As of 4.00pm today AEST, an offender (alleged) was arested and charged with Arson causing death, x 29 and other offences including possession of child pornography... He's one of about 6 arsonists we are hunting down. Sick ba***ards.

Off to the fires now so i'll keep you all informed. I'm taking my camera so if I get a chance, I'll take some personal pics.

I'm so glad Sam the kuala made it but the pictures of the burnt dogs did it for me. Humans can at least say where they are in pain and request pain killers but animals can't. It's such a sorry sight.

Your daughter may like thses pics taken a few days before the bushfires hit. During unusual extreme heat conditions, a young koala that had lost its mother came onto a property not too far from here and found solace in a tub of water. Koalas don't usually drink rather they get all their water from the gum leaves they eat. So these pics are like gold.

This little guy is lucky coz he was smart enough to seek water prior to the fires. So many of his mates are not.

My Daughter is walking on cloud 9 recently since she just got word that she was accepted to the Vet Tech Institute last Monday. She'll be starting school in September to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

I know it is off topic, but Koalas are the cutest little critters I have ever seen.
