Avion & I decided to take the big bangers out for a trundle yesterday morning. It's a lovely time of year here- early Autumn and the temperatures are in the twenties. There wasn't much traffic about and far fewer cyclists than we normally encounter on Sundays, but soon after we started the ride out from Joburg, a dork in a cage came down a dirt trail and pulled across the road right in front of g :y13:. That was a really hairy moment but g reacted sharply and the Tokico/Galfer brake set-up on Angie works well.... The driver didn't even see us.... Apart from that the ride was very enjoyable!

We had a good breakfast at one of the usual haunts. We stopped at the normal place on the way home under the giant oak trees. The acorns on the ground show that the change of seasons is upon us once more.

Two litres and 280 hp of Triumph Triple symphony- can't be bad! :y2:

What can I say?

It was beautiful weather on a public holiday. Angie was doing her best to save on front tyre wear :y42: and the Duchess has got her act together and was thumping out her contralto like the assured veteran performer she is. It sure was :party2:party time.
