Is anyone interested in reading our updates from Farside's nephew, "Jonesy" who is riding his bike from Dubai to Devon UK. Jonesy writes well and it's really entertaining.

He's doing this trip on his own, without backup and support, with a compass and a couple of A4 size maps.

If you are, we can start posting his updates to us.

To give an idea of the person Jonesy is, he's just climbed Mt Everest in May, is doing this trip across the desert and Europe now, and in September(ish) takes off with his father in law to cross the 2 America's. Taken a year or so off work to follow his dream. Wife waiting at home buying too many shoes as consolation prize.

To Jonesy: May your adventurous spirit never die!!!

Would love to, he sounds like a bit of a nutter and if he is related to Grommit he must be. On all his travels I bet he hasn't lost his big toe nail (Grommit) or pulverised his big toe bones (Farside). :y24: :y24: :y24: THAT still tickles my funny bone.
