click on it for a bigger pic. This one shows the regular Tbird and a bagger version in the background and up front seems to be a custom version with chrome fork legs and wheels and pipes that look to not be as upswept and as long, tho hard to tell. Probably custom stuff from the triumph accessories that are said to accompany the bikes release. Could be this thing will either come like that or you'll be able to buy the parts to allow it to compete with Harley's top notch finish quality. This is just making the year long wait that much more unbearable for me !

EDIT: Ahhhh....now i see the black in the still pic is the same as the black in the video. It's drag bars are swept back which i guess is necassary due to the bikes length. Don't care much for the swept back aspect, but what the hey. The pipes are indeed shorter versions too. I like that.

Whats it been, 2 years you've been speculating and drooling about a 1500, now 1600 twin cruiser? If you don't get one of the first ones in the country and give us a detailed report, I'll really be upset. I'd be right behind you if not for those forward controls. What does it weigh?

Me too. In fact it's rather amazing but they seem to have looked at my speedmaster and into my mind because there are a lot of things i either did to my speedy that this bike has, or things i always wanted to do to it. The mirrors...look at my bike and you'll see they are very similar. And this is a rather unique shape too, so thats pretty amazing. The metal handlebar control housings....i spent countless hours online trying to find some for my bike but they are all harley ones and i could be sure whether all my funtions would be retained. This bike has that. they removed the pillion and put a rack there...exactly what i was going to do. It has the same turn signals i put on my speedy. The pegs are similar to the Kuryakyns i put on my speedy, but more like the ones i WANTED to put on it but didn't see till after i bought the ones i did. It's really amazing how many things they seemed to have done just for me !

That said, there are of course things i'd prefer to be different and will be hard if not impossible to change, at least w/o spending a fortune. But I think it's pretty obvious that when it arrives it's going to be very speedmaster like and there will be a lot of RAT members eating thier words..............not to mention my dust. :y24:

The more I look at the black on the more I like it. Even the huge radiator seems to be not that prevalent on this one. Just the right amount of chrome for me. I would of course need a pillion seat if I was to get one but that would not be a big issue. I am not sure if there would be much else I would need to change maybe the pipes.

You mention the pipes Dave, I was talking to the guys that build the Sceptre pipes last week and got them to agree that the sceptres for the T-bird need to go straight back instead of upswept.

What I would like to see is the same style as what I have on my Speedmaster now the short slash. I think this would really finish it and most likely sound great as well. I am not sure what the Sceptre pipes for this would look like.

If you are drooling like this at the pics, wait til you see her in the flesh.YOU will pee your pants :y115:She is beautifull

Yeah, no cheet mank. By the way, the pipes on the black one ARE short and unswept aren't they? I kinda like the swept pipes tho,(always like the norton and thrxton swept look) but i'm unsure which i'd like till i see it in person. You can see a "regular" Tbird like in the first promo pics in that still in the background and i'm wondering if they were showing the way they CAN look with the many accessories they plan to have for it or if those bikes unlike the one in the background are actual variations they're gong to offer. I hope the latter or else there will be a large expense in accessories. Then again they would cost more anyways, tho probably not as much as if you had to buy those parts and do it yourself.

I can't believe i spent about 2 years waiting for this thing only to find that once it was announced i have to wait ANOTHER year ! :y20: :y47:

I can not quite make out if they are; I was also looking at that and wondering about it. I think I will still like to go with the same style as on my Speedy if I had to.

You know what they say all good things come to those that wait ….. and wait ….. and ….. wait :y23:
