The cat is so still. He's not on morphine?
Seriously, we have a cat named Oreo that we take care of since the neighbors threw him out last February as a 6 month old kitten. Fortunately the weather was mild and they fed him sometimes, so he was ok until I could get to him to feed him myself. He lives with a MinPin named Buddy, and to this day they rub heads and sniff areas I would not want to be caught with my nose that close to. Buddy also protects Oreo from the other cats while he eats, although he is big now and probably doesn't need protection. I will try to send some shots of these guys if I can find them. Merry Christmas to all!

But all are great companions.......we are NEVER alone.

This is one of my herd of cats, Houdini, in his second favorite position. If I sit down to watch a movie he lays down with me. I named him Houdini because when he was born we had his mom and siblings in a large dog crate in the living room. When we had the crate closed he would somehow escape, we never found out how. As with all our cats, he has a second name, I also call him Little Man, since he weighs about 16 pounds.

This is Rotten Boy getting a drink of water. I taught his mom to do this and the next day he was doing it as well. His other name is Pumpkin.

This is Shadow, one of our outdoor buddies It took me several weeks to get close enough to pet him, then he moved into a condo under our porch and hung out with me whenever I went outside. The other cat is Rotten Boy, can you guess why I named the grey one Shadow?

When we moved to the country he stayed with the people who bought our old home. He passed away later that year.

This is Smokey, another outdoor buddy from the old neighborhood. He showed up on the porch one day and moved into a condo on the same porch. We found him a home in our court but he tore it to shreds until they opened the door, then he shot out and moved back onto our porch. He stayed with the home as well, and passed away sometime this year. I just found out when I went to visit some friends we had not seen that lived next door. I wish I would've taken them both with us but they were happy there and I didn't want to upset them.

This is a rare shot of most of the herd resting after their afternoon treats. Their names are Rotten Boy, aka Prince Rotten of Lane, The Queen Mother, Qtip, and Tabi, aka Queen Tabitha of Waddles, who is Rotten Boys mom.

This wildman is O'Malley the Fearless. he was abandoned by someone that moved out of the court we live at now. Our neighbor says he's around 11 years old, and has been on his own most of his life. He has signs of frostbite from living in the woods for most of his life. He wasn't liked by some of the neighbors because he doesn't like other animals. It took me a year to get close enough to pet him, now I am his prisoner. He caught me trying to escape my shed and is holding me down until I submitted. Yes the other wildman is me.
