Morning everyone!
I've come to pillage this forum for information and insight!
Name is Ryan, live in a sleepy town called Farmville, Virginia for the past 4 years. Previously lived in West Palm, Fl
Rode MX/Hare Scrambles in middle and high school, had some super motos(Can Am MX4 vintage class, DRZS400's, RM's, YZf's...), and a few road bikes (CBRF3, Interceptor 750, Bandit 1200, Superhawk, Honda Urban 50).
Sold them off when the kid was born 8 years ago, and finally got back into riding here in Virginia!
I remember restoring a 67(?) Bonneville with a friends dad when I was a kid, and always wanted a Triumph. I almost bought a used America, but just not ready for a cruiser just yet being only 32.
Found a fair deal on a well kept Trophy 1200, and picked it up!
28k miles, well maintained, (previous owner had a few full trim race bikes, this was his ride around bike), host of new parts installed, carbs are tuned to a T, and she rides out just beautifully. Far from the fastest bike I've owned, but by far the most well rounded!

Ill be searching some pages in here for different items I want to change up.

Thank you, and if any of yall are in south central Va, let me know! Lets go riding!

That's the sad thing. Physical health can vary so much as we get older. One of my riding group had to stop coz his knees got too bad to trust holding up his bike. He then had to recover from having his stomach and throat removed. We are trying to persuade him to invest in a sidecar outfit. I know he would love to get back riding.
I think it was Bob hope who said "I intend to live forever and so far so good!"
Thanks man! Where did you live out this way? Some gorgeous riding here!
Ft Lee in the Petersburg area. Plus I have done a lot of riding all over NC, VA and WV.

Welcome Ryan . Always nice to hear from former Can Am owners , a rare group indeed. My 1975 GP 250 ser# 004 was fully restored and sold in Florida . Not the best Mxer of that era but won a regional expert ice racing ch’ship on it . Brooke

Where in Florida? I rode/raced with FTR.

I raced in the Atlantic Region , Canadian Motor Cycle Association. A local Cam Am enthusiast , Jeff Langille ,found the bike sans engine did a complete restoration and sold it to a fellow in Florida .
Including pix of the bike with Jeff , my granddaughter and my jersey. You can hear it described and running on u tube ...
