Hi All, Ty for the add to the group. I have been riding since the early 90s and I recently acquired a mint condition 06 Bonnie with 211 miles on it. The gear shifter side carb does leak some fuel due to it sitting for a long time.
Bike starts and runs fine but idles rough due to sitting around.. Left carb leaks a bit of fuel when riding (due to gummed up carbs and stuck float most likely). It will get a complete fluid overhaul, carb cleanup and other bits n pieces to make it into the rumbling tumbling ride it should be..
I am looking forward to sharing info, tips n tricks, parts, upgrades, mods etc.
Apart from this, I ride a 99 ZRX 1100 (with pods, timing advancer, ZX 11 cams and a list of other mods. Eddie Lawson Shrek Green) and a 95 K1100 RS (flying brick which I intend to convert into a scrambler)
