Ok, how about we discuss anything to do with alternative energy vehicles, electric, hydrogen or any other. Eventually some partial transition or alternative energy source vehicles will become relevant and perhaps necessary. My opinion is that no one single solution is absolutely correct nor should we limit ourselves to one solution. Each has merits and each has drawbacks. Post ‘em and lets discuss.

Hydrogen options:

Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle:

Volvo says EV's not only do not offset emissions but produce more that a comparable gas powered car. Building An EV Produces 70% More Emissions Than ICE, Says Volvo

Then there is the cost, not only purchase but insurance and eventual battery replacement being more than the cost of a gas powered car.

Ps, there is NO manmade global warming, it is a wealth redistribution plan. There has been zero global temperature increase in 8 years. It IS all a scam.

The big problem with fossil fuels is that it’s not renewable. Eventually a replacement is needed. I don’t oppose electric, but going only for one replacement source seems a bit shortsighted.

Hydrogen and alternative fuels are a viable option. There is data that oil does renew, long empty wells can produce again after time. The earth produces oil and it is not from dead dino's....LOL

A petroleum engineer I know told me forty years ago that same thing. He laughed at the notion that petroleum oil came from dead critters. He said the earth produces petroleum oil from minerals and gases and other causes combined. I did not argue with the man.

I did an experiment of my own, as I am a scientist myself, where I tried with great vigor to burn a fossil as fuel. It did nothing spectacular except get hot. I would certainly not recommend putting fossils in one's fuel tank. Or dead dinos, for that matter.

As you had mentioned before, hydrogen as a fuel source IS the answer for now, until those guys that have been keeping anti-gravity vee-hick-ules from us get a clue and share the tech.

The above comment is relevant to motorcycle riding because I said it is.

Fook. Serious conspiracy theory shite.

Parked up my Bonneville today. Got chatting to a man, bit older than me. It's always old men that chat to me when I'm with the Bonneville. He had a 350 BSA when young, fitted a Triumph 500 engine in it. Anyway, turns out his car was next to my bike. A Nissan Leaf, electric car. He lives in a flat. Only charges at public points. Takes 20 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.

Well yeah, I thought everybody already knew that. It's the sun that is the culprit where globular warming is concerned. That thing in the sky that gets reeeel hot during the day and especially in the summer? Yeah, that's it. When I ride my Bonnie, I am always sure to spread as much CO2 as possible since the planet is severely depleted at this time, and plants need CO2 to grow. But then, everybody already knows that too. So, in case you want to participate in helping restore the earth and make it great again, ride your bike a lot and breath deeply and exhale lots of the nurturing CO2, the plants will thank you, I am sure.
