This rider must be very, very tall :y2:
If not, this is a bit over the top!

When I first bought my Trophy, I played around with different windscreen sizes for different temperatures (small one for hot summer and larger ones for colder season). The one pictured below was the extra large. I found that strong cross winds caused it to act as a "sail" and push the bike around sideways quite badly.

I can see that windshield would be a problem with cross winds. Strong cross winds will blow the bike and rider around enough without adding a tall screen to the mix.

Rocky, don't get too excited. I recall AJ saying that photo is the only one he has with the bike looking clean. I'd like to see a new photo. :y15:

That is true....it hasn' been washed since 1996! However I do clean the dead bugs off of the windscreen and clean the headlights. Amazing as it seems, rain keeps it fairly clean looking and there's no scratches on it. I also keep the mechanicals and stuff in perfect order (I don't have a death wish). :)

If you look closely at the Trophy photo, you'll see there is very, very little chrome on the bike......the silencer brackets, the gauge bezels, and the headlamp surround are about the extent of it. The rest is gray, black, or painted "merlot" (burgundy). If I took a photo of it today, it would still look almost as clean as it did in that photo.
