I had a great ride out today.
I set of at 8.00am and it was a bit on the cool side as we had a frost overnight!
I live in the south of Cumbria, and the first part of the ride took me into Lancashire and into an are called the Trough of Bowland. The roads are narrow and undulating with very little traffic, perfect!
These 3 pics are taken at the village of Slaidburn.

From Slaidburn I travelled a road called Quiet Lane over the fells to Bentham in Yorkshire.
The next 3 shots are taken along Quiet Lane, the Lane is about 12 miles long and is a fun ride.

As you arrive at Bentham, the flat top summit of Ingleborough appears,

From Bentham I carried on into deepest darkest Yorkshire, where men are men and sheep are nervous!

Continuing on to Simonstone and the view looking back to Ingleborough

From Simonstone I continued on towards Keld. This part of the route is going to be used for the Tour de France, as the Tour is staring in the UK this year. The next 3 shots are on the Tour route,

Just after Keld I passed these waterfalls,
