I have recently bought a new Garmin Zumo 660 for my Tiger, so today I gave it a little test.
I created a route using ridewithgps.com and uploaded it to the Garmin using Garmin Write.
I also bought a Scala bluetooth headset so that I can hear the directions.
I set off from Cumbria and headed south to Lancashire down the Trough of Bowland.

The Trough of Bowland is part of the Whitewell Estate owned by the Duchy of Lancaster who happens to be HRH the Queen!

From here I continued on to Slaidburn passing the church and war memorial on the way.

From Slaidburn I continued on eventually entering Yorkshire and on to Settle. From Settle I headed over the moors above Malham towards Richmonshire.

View looking back to Settle.

Richmondshire

From Richmonshire my route took me back into Yorkshire and into Dentdale.

Settle to Carlisle railway bridge

And the Tiger under the Arches

From Dentdale it was just a short trip over the hill and back into Cumbria, 125 miles in total.
The Garmin was excellent and it made the ride much easier being prompted where to turn!
