A Favour Please Guys

As you know, I'm the "technical guru" around here so I'm going to ask a big favour. When you head up your new threads, please save me from temptation. When I see headers like "O Ring...", "Tach.....", "Outlet" and so on, you just know my mind goes to all the places it shouldn't and I sit here cracking up at the thoughts going through my head.

This makes my staff think I'm crazy and that does nothing for my authority around the office.

And I'm not allowed to give technical advice anymore, because my mind doesn't work like your minds do and my posts get deleted and people complain.

So please guys, spare a thought for me here - I'm busting to make comments but can't so I sit here looking like a complete crazy-lady. Next time you start a thread, keep my warped brain in mind and don't tempt me.

Oh but.........................if you need duct tape, cable ties and WD40 advice, then I'm on safe ground to be asked!

Oh yes Silli - really hurt my feelings that some people don't see things like "vibrating seats" in the same way that I do. So the other so-called technical fundi's thought I was 'hijacking' their 'serious' threads and I got................DELETED! But all I was really doing was giving a different perspective to follow .

Gromit.... I don't think you should give up with your technical advice on here. It's invaluable!

I mean..... had it not been for your advice in that recent PM I would never have solved the problem of the sticky sprag selector back-nut override adjuster!

Now you see, here's an example: I would see a "gasundairmixenschnifter" as a bodily part that emits methane gas that causes the schnifter to wrinkle up with a "eeeeuuuuwww - who did that!!!"
