A Day At The Cottage

I spent the first day of autumn at my lakeside cottage in glorious 22C (72F) temps.
There was no wind and the lake was like glass.

A short while later a couple paddling a canoe went by.
When you're enjoying such peace, quiet and serenity, you feel like there isn't a care or problem in the world.

Yes, it certainly is a beautiful place to relax and toss your cares away, but right now it's hard to believe that in four months it's going to look like this!

I agree that it was wrong and will fine myself one less slice of toast at breakfast this morning .

The weather is too nice to pass up the opportunity so I'm going back today, but will come home tonight since I'm going on the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride on Sunday morning.

Great pics rocky a truly amazing place , I think those last pics are what Scotland are going to look like very soon !
There promising the worst winter for 50 years that scares me as 2009-2010 was bad , so if it's worse than that I think in going to brown bear it ....and hibernate .
