Does anyone have a schemtic for the assembly of the stock air filter housing? My bike currently has an aftermarket/modified filter assembly and I want to put it back to the original. I believe I have all the parts (I may need a few nuts and bolts), and want to but it back to original, including the "Bonneville 750" covers. You can see in the pic how it's modified.

Thanks,

I've looked various places and just can't find anything that will help you on this.

But here's something weird.....

Looking at your bike in the photo above, your front fender is shorter than mine!

Hi AJ,

That is interesting about the fender. I wonder if mine is aftermarket??? Regarding the air filter housing, I have a parts drawing in the original owners manuel (which came with the bike), which will probably be enough for me to get it back together, though picture of it actually connected to the carbs would be helpful.....(with the side covers off the bike).

I'm really excited about this bike and am looking forward to a ride this weekend!

Thanks for all your help!

Mike

I have to look again in the box of parts. If not, can I use any basic rubber hose I'd pick up at an auto parts/motorcycle parts shop?

Can anyone tell me it the plastic air intaair intake.jpgkes are situated properly (pointing down and back from the front of the bike/carberators)? Or should they point up and forwards the fronair intake 2.jpgt of the bike? Or point up and back from the front of the bike?

Thanks for any input on how these things are proprely assembled.

Mike looking at the photo of you bike do you know that the back shocks are mounted upside down and this can cause damage to them long term

Are you sure that they are upside down?
They look the correct way to me if they are the early Girlings and we are talking about the photo of the brown bike in the first post.

Edit,
Now I'm a bit confused after looking at some photos online. It's possible that they changed the system at a time that I was away playing with Ducati's.
