I’ve watched several of these reviews and the now discontinued Thruxton always seems to come up as a comparison or a link. Makes me wonder, why it was discontinued since it always gets a favorable remembrance.

It is odd Triumph nixed the Thrux since they are marketing to a young demographic.

Yeah, I guess I never understood logic or marketing.

I don’t care for the all black engines. Yours looks fabulous! The Thruxton is my absolutely favorite model of the modern classics. A shame it wasn’t continued. Although I really like the old school vibe of carburetors and that also ended long ago. Motorcycles in general just seem to get more complex. I suppose that’s inevitable. That all said, if I had the space and a modern modern Thruxton was available and I could afford it, I wouldn’t mind one in my garage. I’d still want polished covers! LoL.
