Selling my Tiger 800 xrx so I can buy a Tiger 900 GT Pro.

Tiger 800 is the lower set-up for short inseam riders. It comes standard with heated grips, 4 riding modes, cruise control, original windscreen, hand protectors, 4 adjustments for clutch and front brake, manual rear suspension adjustment for two-up or loaded riding, etc.. Bike details are:
  1. 21,500 miles, original owner, clean title. Probably over 95% paved roads. Off-road has been light gravel and dirt
  2. All service down on time by Triumph dealer technicians
  3. Dunlop Trailmax Mission tires front and rear. They have 65-75% life remaining. Although these are 50-50 tires, they roll nicely on pavement.
  4. Brakes are 60-70% remaining
  5. Triumph Expedition panniers (side and top) - keyed to ignition
  6. Triumph engine and tank guards
  7. Headlight protector
  8. Headlight and front turn signals are LED
  9. Only tip overs were driveway - no moving drops.
  10. Portland, Oregon location
  11. Stored inside 100% of the time
  12. Prefer Cash only
This bike tours nicely - never ridden abusively.

Paul

Wish you were closer to Wisconsin I'd jump on this.

The Tiger 900 GT is a great bike are you getting another low model? I just put a lowering kit on my 2017 Tiger Explorer XRx (1215cc) makes a huge difference in my garage (still too cold and snowy to ride) but thought about getting a 900 in a low model - I like the Tiger Explorer (except for confusing menu) but really wanted one hundred pounds less weight

IMHO the new mid size tigers weigh slightly less the 800 series but the feel much lighter . Also not sure what the seat heights are but on the high setting I’m flat footed on the new bike , and was flat foot one side tip toe other side for the old one .
If you have a big tiger at least you have a place to go as you continue to enjoy old age . Most of my high school friends ride Harleys and just quit riding or buy tricycles . They would rather have a hand cut off than consider another brand , But then they are wonderful machines .
