Hello, yesterday I picked up 2018 t100 , not sure if this noise was there before I brought home or did it start after I washed the bike( its dirty). When I turn on the key without starting it, I can hear a noise under\near the seat (air box). sounds like a stuck fan or air leak from a hose probably neither. I may have to take the area apart to inspect.. maybe someone have experience with this. I will attempt to attach a video.

Possible electric fuel pump noise. I am not familiar with the noises these bikes make, but sounds about right to be the fuel pump.
If you unplug the fuel pump or pull the fuse for it that might narrow it down. Normally it will only run for a few seconds to build pressure then stop.

Second this. When you turn on the bike, the fuel pump starts, and mine does sound a bit like a fan.
Thank you for confirming! I look up some other post and found this is typical noise and some say it happens when the bike has been sitting for a while or happen when the fuel is 1/2 tank.. I will monitor it the sound ...but feel better (not happy) this is not unusual for Triump's. I have a 2012 tiger 800 and it does not make any sounds like this after it primes.
I will update once I get it on the rode.
I should have watched your tweet video. That is the exact sound mine makes when first turning on. I am not sure how long it lasts as I start mine usually within a few seconds, and engine/exhaust noise overrides the fuel pump sound.
