I just purchased a 2016 ST and I was hoping to put heated hand grips on it. When I went to the shop they said that the mirrors on the end of my handlebars would likely screw right through the wire in the Triumph heated hand grips. So those grips did have a wire near the end and what he was saying made sense, but looking at some posts on here, I kind of feel like that threading on the handlebars is stock, so why would they make heated hand grips that don't work with that? So can anyone tell me if the Triumph heated hand grips will work with mirrors at the end of the handle bars or can tell me of a third party heated hand grip that would work?
