Peter Jenks, former owner of Jenk's Bolts and an avid motorcycle enthusiast, really likes the SE. He claims it handles as well as a late 60's Meridan Bonnie without the loss of stability a high speeds. He says this is the best Bonneville yet.

I personally do not like looks of the mag wheels. I prefer the traditional look of spoke wheels on the Bonnie and I prefer the 60's look of the T100 over the 70's look of the SE. But I am going to ride an SE this afternoon.

I can tell you the SE out handles my T100 and the previous Hinkley Bonnies. It handles pretty darn close to my TR6. Because the roads were wet and there was traffic, I didn't get above 75 mph; but it was plenty stable. I still prefer the looks of my T100; but I could definitely add an SE to my stable!
