Hi all,

I've recently picked up a set of gasser customs, along with an air I jection removal kit. Been advised by Gasser to go up 2 sizes on the jets, but I've had a hell of a time tracking down stock sizes on the pilot jet. Main jet seems to be 110, with the pilot either at 40 or 45..

Does anyone have any experience re jetting their old Thruxton's? I'm guessing if I go up 2 sizes on each, that would put me at a 120 for the main, and 45 on the pilot.

Really appreciate the help.

Cheers

Thanks man!

Yeah, I was checking your thread out over the past few weeks. Only thing that threw me was sorting out which jets to go with. I saw you mentioned the guy before you eliminated the airbox and that the jets weren't stock. When talking to a guy gasser customs mentioned I should check out (jetsrus.com), the guy there mentioned the only way to get a true bead on the jets is to remove the bowls and check out what I've got. Then flip him a pic and he could suggest what to go with (I was advised to go up 2 sizes from stock based on exhausys i picked up from gasser customs). I know the jets are stock, so kind of dont want to go through the hassle of taking my carb apart, so im thinking more than likely I'll go 115 main, 45 pilot on the kehin genuines.

Btw, that's what I was given for the jets.

Taking the carbs apart was actually really easy. The guidelines on the PDF were pretty good if you have any other mods or if you’re considering more. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. He’s right though, only absolute way to know is to look. LoL.

Nice, I've had a read through.

This might be a ridiculous question, but is it possible to just remove the carb bowls to see what jets I'm working with?

Yes, for the main jets. There will be a number stamped on the jet you should be able to read (like 110). For 01 to 08 900 engines the recommended size is 120 main and 45 pilot
