new to the forum so bear with me, advice regarding my 2002 bonneville. Looks great but sounds a bit quiet. Any advice would be appreciated
 
There are several aftermarket exhaust cans available for the bike but others have been known to "adjust" their stock pipes.

I'm not sure exactly how they have "adjusted" their stock pipes but it usually involves drilling out the baffle plate or drill multiple holes in the baffle. I hope one of the members that has "adjusted" theirs will be along shortly to offer their experience.

This mod of the end of the mufflers (silencers) is referred to as a "bafflectomy."
It's fairly easy to do on the earlier models like yours, but a little harder on later ones.
It has been discussed at length here some time ago, but I don't know if there is a tutorial on it or not.
Do a search here on the site using the word "bafflectomy" and I'm sure you will find plenty of threads that discuss the process.
