It seems that everything inside the headlight housing are quick disconnect! Except the three lights (turn, oil and high beam indicators)....right?? I hate to cut wires, is it the only way to disconnect the three lights or I'm missing something...

See pictures!

Thanks

Firstly, are those translucent terminations not mini spade terminals?
Secondly, why disconnect them? I you want to remove the harness those small lamps will easily fit through the holes.

Triumph would have designed this arrangement such that replacing a lamp would be a simple job.

Have a closer look. :y16:

First, thanks for edit my title.

I am in the mids of restoring a farm fresh 1978 T140E, the headlight assembly pitted and rusty. The connectors in the translucent terminations are sawer together, I have to cut the wire to disconnect them. The wires connected to the red around cylinder in the middle will not come out either, looks like I have to cut it also.

Like I've said, every connectors besides these three connectors are quick disconnect. What gives?

I agree with Silli.
This should not be this hard so don't be too quick to start cutting wires.
The three indicator lights would be a solid unit and simply pull out of their housing so the bulbs could be changed.
There should be no reason to dis-assemble them I don't think.
But I'm not there so can't really judge.
Work with this some more. They should come apart (unpluged) unless a previous owner was messing with the system and soldered (glued) things solid.
