Been a while since I updated the status of my rebuild. Got the frame and related parts powder coated in gloss black. Found out it cost more for new rear shock dampers that it did for a pair of shocks with springs already assembled.....so new shocks it was. Also noticed that the front fork tubes were slightly bent. Found a pair of fork tubes for a reasonable price. Now the reassembly starts. Will update as I make progress

Do you have any helpful suggestions that might make it easier to assemble? Getting the front so it's true is gonna be my biggest concern.
