SweeeeeT collection. My R3GT is a blast, and very comfortable but I'm thinking next year trading down to a Bobber or T120.It's a good start. I stuck with 1200's all way round: 3 2cyl, 1 3cyl., and 1 4 cyl.

Comes in handy (Handy?). Did oil changes on 4 bikes Monday, took a coupe hours and no mess, no fuss, no muss. Vice holds the bike vertical so accurate oil level is easy. Mine is pneumatic so just step on a pedal and up or down she goes.I could sure us a lift, now that I have 2 bikes to maintain.
Couple of notes on the Bobber (what I traded my Rocket III for). I had to upgrade the suspension front and rear to make it rideable. There is only 3.25 inches of rear shock travel and if you put any sag on the rear shock sitting on it you'll bottom out early and often. To make it a real PITA Triumph made the rear shock non-adjustable so one spring rate fits a few. Cornering clearance is limited as well, so touching down 'bank angle indicators' happens on a regular basis even on roundabouts. That can be mitigated some by reversing the rear shock mounting struts to increase ride height of the frame. That said it's a very fun scoot when sorted and puts a smile on my mug going down the road (and it has cruise control).SweeeeeT collection. Good trade!I swapped the rug for a lift......

Some people, like Jay Leno, collect bikes just like some people collect stamps or coins. All of the bikes in Jay Leno's collection get ridden. For me, two or three bikes are manageable, for example a touring bike, an off road bike, and a vintage bike.I have one Triumph. That is all. I know some people who have eight bikes, or more. One guy I know has, like fifty. How can a guy ride that many bikes?
I had five bikes too and all were ridden for many years but I'm starting to downsize as I get older. My # is 5, all have plates and I Ride them all. Crazy, like 5 wives that don't talk back and just let me enjoy what they were made for. Variety I guess after all there are 5 days in a week. And yes they all have girls names and get put through their paces.
I know the feeling, my son-in-law put 'dibs' on my Bobber right after I bought it. Last night he said he'd gladly just inherit the whole collection.......I had five bikes too and all were ridden for many years but I'm starting to downsize as I get older.
Only three now and one has been spoken for.
Naw, he's a good egg and he mows my lawn for free........Tell him the bike gets buried with you
Now that is a big deal!Naw, he's a good egg and he mows my lawn for free........
