Hi Leo, you'd best chuck the stock one away and get a Pingel one - I've had to replace both of mine on my 06 Scrambler and 01 Bonnie; the Triumph ones are rubbish, but the Pingel ones seem to be great quality (made in your neck of the woods too, I think) - cheers, Pat

I appreciate that, I'll give them a call Monday. Pingel must use an adapter because I didn't see any oblong ones

Decided to go with Pingel 6211-CH with Adapter A1602C . It's about 170 dollars no matter where I order it. It's only about 10 dollars more than the OEM fuel tap.
