Hi Guys,
I have just purchased a lovely 1969 T100S. Back in the 70s I had one of these but forgot just how high the revs are! At 50 mph I am registering 4000rpm. It has the standard 18t front and 46t rear sprockets. I feel I daren't go any faster at present on such an old lady! I wish to ride a bit faster (60mph) to stay with traffic flow but am certainly not looking to ride this bike hard. Just a bit more relaxed, that's all.
Is it worth me changing the front sprocket to a 20t? What sort of revs will it be at 60mph? Any advice and experiences would be most welcome. Thanks.
