Just wondering if anyone here has purchased and installed this bit of kit:

Have searched a couple of forums and not finding much feedback on the fairing. Lots of folks seem happy with the stand-alone windscreen, but really quiet on the fairing. Looks kind of cool, but I'm wondering about its weight, as I'm not eager to add more "top-heaviness" to this bike. Would also like to understand the extent to which this add-on manages wind into the cockpit and begins to turn this into an ADV/Tourer?
Anyone?

I just purchased an XC...and I too am curious about this setup. One thing I noticed when looking on the site was it seems to change the headlight location a little as well. You can tell if you select to put it on and off when configuring a bike. Watching the headlamp it seems to move slightly up/out away from the bike. Nothing crazy but I did notice it.

I am in between on the setup. I like the thought of it breaking more wind in the front, but I also noticed it makes it so you cant put on the SW Motec (sp?) crash bars. This may be no big deal for some.

If I get crazy and purchase it... I will be sure to report back in this thread. Off to pack for Vegas..... The Minister of War and Finance not only approved a new bike...but also a training exercise of inebriated bad decisions with my group of grossly immature friends over the next week.

I should be careful to tread lightly moving forward ..... starting to feel like that guy in Jurassic Park right before the raptors kill him.... "Clever girl......."
