I was pretty disappointed is the parts for the 1200xe. So I had some custom bag mounts made.

Picked up a cheap wind deflector from Amazon along with a trunk. Got some decent large metal saddle bags.

So very happy with the finished product. Can truly go anywhere.

Wow very nice setup. I have ordered the large screen that I believe is for the street scrambler which I've been told will fit our bikes as well. Love your luggage setup and i'm guessing you had a local welder make panier mounts for you?

That is the exact top case setup I want! So my pillion can have a little back rest and we can throw our stuff in it. Do you know what rack and case you have? Thanks!

Great stuff Bjtid, I’ve also got a 1200XE and I believe that our bikes are severely underrated as adventure bikes, i ride mine every day including weekend’s, and on my holidays my wife and I tour on it, we love this bike. On weekends I ride it on dirt almost every weekend with a couple of mates, one has a F800GS and the other has an 800 tiger.
I have removed the side exhaust and I’ve replaced it with a twin system just like my Thruxton, a reverse cone muffler on each side, the reason why is simply for luggage because now I can carry my throw over panniers and load up the rack with tents, sleeping bags and everything else including food it’s a rippa of a bike

The exhaust looks great - is it a simple bolt-on from another model?

Looks nice, I'm afraid I'd have some creases in those cases from making my way thru the woods..
