Good day to everyone. I need some advice on a 2014 Tiger Explorer 1200.
I have had the bike since new and it is very well maintained. At the moment it is on 110000Km (68000 miles). As the mileage increases I started to observe that the bike pops out of second gear from time to time, especially when applying a lot of power. It is now happening more frequently and sometimes it will miss the shift from third completely into neutral and when you fiddle, it will go to 5th.
It is becoming very annoying. I am not an aggressive driver and do not abuse the bike.
I am trying to determine a plan to solve the issue. I stay in South Africa and parts are expensive and not always in stock.
I am technical competent and have worked on numerous bikes and cars (as a hobby). In my mind the following is possible causes:
On 60000km I had the complete gearbox out. Some teeth broke of a gear and fell into some of the other gears. I had to almost replace all the gears. At that stage the selector forks where still well within spec.
I am hoping that someone else had a similar issue and can shed some light on typical issues.
Thank you for your help.

- Wrong setup. Linkage length. Clutch set to full clutch and not half.
- Bend or worn selector forks
- Worn selector drum groove
