After I bought the T100 it didn't take long to realize that the factory seat bolts were wanting. I considered the knurled after market bolts that are on the market, but when I saw these stainless steel hex key (allen wrench) seat bolts on a British web site I chose them. The company calls them "bullet bolts." They require a hex key to remove and fit, but as I had a small hex ratchet set that wouldn't be a problem and easy to carry. With the wrench I can tighten the bolts firmly and they have never loosened. Unless a thief just happened to have the correct size hex key with him, the seat is secure.
While I was at it I ordered a pair of chrome knobs for the side covers for easier on and off. They are easy to tighten and remove and have never loosened either.

Those look really good.

I use the extended bolts (black) for my seat. I don't wish to fiddle with tools.

I have never changed the side cover fasteners. I like the ones you chose.

That was the type I considered first, but read on the 'net that some worked loose and were lost. I thought the type I chose would tighten better - even if a small wrench was required.
I just checked the mototwin web site and mine aren't listed anymore. I guess they didn't prove to be popular - plus they weren't as cheap (in price) as the type above.

They will work loose if not properly tightened. They have a big slot in the head and I use a quarter to give them a final tightening. After I learned that trick, I've never had one work loose.
