I recently bought a new Scrambler 1200 and for a variety of reasons opted for the XE rather than the XC model. Then I decided the XE is bit too tall for my 30" inside leg so I opted for the Tech lowering springs

to be fitted and the front suspension is also lowered by about 1cm.
This was a lot better but I then found the side stand was keeping the bike too vertical and awkward when wheeling around. Then I discovered the XC stand is about 3cms shorter than the one fitted to the XE. So now I have a side stand from an XC, I also opted fro the centre stand from an XC to help grease my chain etc.
My other options were grab rack, heated grips, mudguard extension, dresser bars to protect the side casings, knee pads and the connectivity kit, which is all sorted.
Now I'm a happy bunny and just had my 600 mile service!
