Looking to buy a chrome cam cover for my 2007 Bonneville T100. I may consider a polished one.
Rocky, I think you are right. I purchased a stock used one that I will have polished or chromed if I cannot locate one. I thought about polishing my spare one to see how it would look but I am having extreme difficulty removing the paint/powder coat. I thought I would have the polished or chrome one to install the next time I check the valve clearance. You probably won't find one here, so your best bet is probably Google.
I too fitted one many years ago to my 2006 and it looks great with the other chrome and black paint.

I'll keep looking. It really improves the look of the engine.
I was able to source one this morning. $141.51 total with tax. Shipping was free.Good luck in your search![]()
I thought so as well! The price to chrome my spare cover had bids between $180-300! Not including shipping to and from the plater. Plating prices have sure gone up and the little local shops are goneGreat news and the price is decent![]()

Well, Engle Triumph refunded my money, no explanation. Maybe they didn't have one. Nevertheless, I sourced another one. Triumph Bonneville Spares Kit, Cam Cover, Chrome. Bonneville - T1260916 | Cross Country Triumph, Metuchen NJ (crosscountrycycle.net)Lucky you found one, I tried to find one several months ago to no avail and ended up sanding the powdercoat off a spare and polishing it out.
It was a bear getting all of the powder coat off. Paint stripper didn't touch it, used wire wheel to strip it before sanding. Took it down to 400 grit on the hard to see areas and 600 grit on the obvious areas before polishing.Well, Engle Triumph refunded my money, no explanation. Maybe they didn't have one. We'll see if this one makes it! It's a little cheaper @ $137.94 USD
Do you have a picture of your cover that is polished? I would willingly have gone to polished if I couldn't find chrome. I bought a spare to do just that. Never got all of the powder coat off of it. and got tired of fighting it.

Pretty happy with the way it turned out. I'll wait until riding season is over before I install it.

Hermy's Triumph has one on order for me. They said 2-4 weeks back order and as far as they know it isWell CRAP!! Yet another vendor who lists a product they do not have and cannot get.
Cross Country informed me they can't get one and don't have a chrome cover.
The search goes on. Still looking.
