Some friends of mine were at a popular LA riding destination, the Rock Store. Leno was there with the bike. Leno is a very friendly guy and like showing the bike to everyone. He was sitting on the bike with it running and the story is he melted the front fender of a car. He left his attorneys number under the wiper blade with a short note.

The story I heard (from Leno on the Speed Channel) was he was sitting at a red light. Some idiot in a Camry pulled right up behind him. As he pulled away when the light changed he looked back in his rear view and saw the melted bumper.

I was reading an article a while back on it where Leno said it's not all that wicked feeling till you hit about 60, then all of a sudden it feels like the hand of god is pushing you. LOL! It's really not all that tho when you consider you can go down to the Boss Hoss dealer and buy a bike with a 500+ HP V8 in it ! In fact, i think they've gone well beyond that since i last looked if i'm not mistaken. They're much heavier but much more powerfull too.

Saw a whole 1/2 hour TV show on this bike. Five key points - 1) very, very hot to sit on, 2) very, very hard to slow down quickly, 3) the faster you go the more power it makes - peg the throttle and it will eventually fly and then kill you, 4) very, very expensive and 5) no low end torque.
