Why you'll love your Tobaccos

1. They'll keep your body safe and sound.
When it comes to riding gear, style without substance is a mess waiting to happen. Tobacco's linings are made from Dupont™ Kevlar® Fibers fitted to protect your most vulnerable areas, covering you from your waist, over your knees, to your shins in front; and covering your rear-end behind.

When it really hits the fan, Tobaccos will keep your skin on you and off the road.

I wear Kevlar-lined jeans like that - but not the ladies models of course :y153:
I've never tested them, but according to the slide tests they do very well.
They have no armor so wouldn't do well in a crash impact.

These are the Diamond Gusset Defender jeans I wear.
They're made in the U.S. and what I like about them is that you can order any waist size or leg length - not the usual 36x32 or whatever.
The denim is very heavyweight and the cuffs have a Velcro strap to keep them from flapping in the breeze.
I think it's very uncool to be riding with your pant legs flapping BGRIN

They run about $ 130.00 U.S., but there was a sale on them a couple of years ago so I bought several pairs in blue and black.
Of course that meant that I couldn't gain any weight BGRIN .................and I haven't TUP TUP

Wow right now that is expensive for my side, I don't think I have ever paid that much for any bit of clothing besides jackets.
Yes, they certainly aren't cheap, and with our devalued dollar, too expensive now; about $ 163.00 CDN at current rates - not counting border taxes.
The good news is that Joe Rocket also has a Kevlar pair that we can buy here, but I haven't done any research - mainly because I don't need any.
