So, is anyone following the Games? I've been able to catch some of this but my work schedule has made it a hit and miss viewing schedule. Fortunately the events I have had the chance to catch have been the ones I enjoy.
I'm not addicted to it, but I have it on in the background some of the time. Canada is doing very well.
Of course I watched the Canadian hockey games - both men and women. I'm very impressed at how well the women play the game.
The Canada/US games were barn burners as this is an old rivalry of many years.
On Sunday I'll be glued to the TV for the hockey game for the gold medal.
I watch a few of the events - bobsled, luge, downhill and of course hockey. Canadians are happy to win medals, but really all we really care about is gold in hockey.
Our country practically shut down while the gold medal hockey game was being played on Sunday.
My bike buddies and I were at our usual Sunday breakfast and the restaurant/bar was packed as they has a wide-screen TV on the wall.
Needless to say the place erupted when the game ended and both the women and men teams had captured gold.
